February Dinner Meeting:
Our next dinner meeting will be on the 9th at 6:30 PM at Amarillo Roadhouse
District Convention
The District Convention will be on March 6th at the Radison Star in Merrillville.
Our next trip to the Hammond Warming Shelter will be on March 7th.
The majority of our dinner meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month at Spike's Lakeside Inn, mixer at 6:00 - dinner at 6:30. Very little business will be conducted at these dinners; they will be more of a social time.
Our club invites you to call one of the phone numbers below and be a visitor to see the good things we are doing for our community. Meetings consist of a good meal, and the meetings usually are done by 8:30 p.m.
Cost for the meal is usually $10.
Business meetings are normally held at the Schererville American Legion. The business meetings will be held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
Used eyeglasses can be dropped off at the Town Hall, Spikes Lakeside Inn, or the Schererville Chamber of Commerce.
We are continuing to collect items to be sent to our troops overseas.
Please drop off items at Spikes Lakeside Inn, Lisa Williams, American Family Insurance or the Schererville Chamber Of Commerce - all on Joliet Street in downtown Schererville! Items being collected include individual sized bottles of shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, lotions, pain relief (Excedrin, etc), Ramen Noodles (no pork in anything),jerky, microwave popcorn, lemonade, hot chocolate, coffee, teas, sugar, creamers, hard candy, packaged cookies, playing cards, sports items (banners, pictures of your favorite team).Think of what you might like if you were "over there", if we can mail it we will! We have sent over 700 pounds so far! GO SCHERERVILLE!!!!
